Kaylinn was the surprise star of our 2001 Iditarod team. The 2000/2001 season was her first in harness. She caught on quickly and made it onto the Iditarod team. Leaving Eagle Island she was barking and eager to get going, so I put her up in lead (although she had not one lick of training for the position).

Not only did she lead all the way into Kaltag, she also lead from Golovin to White Mountain! Now she is actually getting some training and is expected to be a key leader on our team in the years to come.

Kaylinn is also a key producer in the whelping box for us. She loves being a Mom - almost as much as being a sled dog!!!
